Turning

The Final Page

veryone has a favorite book where they fell in love with the story immediately. The
characters are so engaging you cannot even put the book down, every page draws you

in a little deeper. Suddenly you realize the last chapter is before your eyes, you don’t want
Ethe story to end, but you have to see what happens next.

Galena Park ISD is turning the last page on the current Cloverleaf Elementary and will begin

construction on their new building during the 2018-2019 school year. The Board of Trustees recently
named the construction contract to Sterling Structures, and iBi Group was named as the architect
for the rebuild.

here have been many chapters in the

history of Cloverleaf Elementary, which
celebrated 75 years of educating
Tstudents this school year. It has been
the center of its community since 1943.

Cloverleaf is the second oldest elementary
school and the fourth oldest school in the
District. Since its opening, Cloverleaf has
increased from six classrooms to 57 classrooms.

A lunchroom, learning center, multipurpose
room, clinic area and computer labs were
added in later years.
