STARTING A NEW CHAPTER 2018 SUMMER FOOD
SERVICE PROGRAM

From June 4 – July 26, 2018, the Galena Park Independent School District
will be sponsoring the Texas Department of Agriculture Summer Food Service
Program by providing free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of
age and younger. Regulations require that meals must be eaten at the
school. Children do not have to sign up for meals. They are invited to attend
any school site during serving hours. Serving sites, dates and times are listed
below:

Note: Sam Houston Elementary, Williamson Elementary, MacArthur Elementary,
Jacinto City Elementary and Normandy Crossing Elementary will be closed on
July 4, 2018.

Returning Student Verification Save the date

GPISD Policy, in accordance with Texas Education Agency regulations, requires
returning students to verify residency within the GPISD boundaries annually. Please
plan to attend one of the dates/locations below to complete the returning
student verification for the 2018-2019 school year.
